People come to Taqueria Monterrey for more than just great food in a great atmosphere. They come for authenticity. Every dish is prepared with the same care and quality of ingredients as you would find in Mexico.
A highlight of Taqueria Monterrey is our alpastor grill, a vertical grill cooking method that allows direct slow heat using mezquite charcoal to roast the meat, sealing in flavor and providing the best taste possible.
Catering minimum is 30 people. We do it buffet style because this way people can build to their own tacos according to their own preferences on fillings and toppings, assuring the warm fillings and fresh tortillas. You get a meat or two (or vegetarian filling options) anything form our regular menu, say Carne Asada and Chicken. It comes in aluminum tray (the kind that fits in a chaffing dish), a tray of rice, a tray of beans, another tray with all the taco veggies (pico de gallo: onion, tomatoes, cilantro plus purple marinated onions and shredded cabbage), a tray with choice of corn or flour tortillas and of course red and green salsa. The price is $6.50 +tax per person. If you want guacamole is $2.50 +tax per person, chips and salsa $2.50 +tax per person, dessert tres leches cake $2.50 +tax per person. Also if you want to include all paper plates, plastic silverware and napkins is $0.50 per person. Pick up only 50% deposit required.

A highlight of Taqueria Monterrey is the salsa bar, a collection of 10 salsas handmade daily for maximum taste. Ranging from mild and sweet to very hot, the salsa bar is the perfect compliment to any meal.
